Our desire at Taylor Creek Church is for young people to become committed followers of Jesus Christ by leading them to a saving knowledge of Him, helping them grow in their relationship with Him, and finding the place He has for them to serve. Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Meetings and Events

Sunday School: Junior High and High School meet at 9 am to study God’s word. Come join us as we learn the incredible depths of Scripture, and how we should respond in living out our faith. Our current series is a study of the book of Romans. By faith in Him, Christ is our righteousness. Because of our salvation, how should we then live? We will look at the theology in Romans, and learn how to connect the dots with how we think, speak and act. If your student would like to purchase a Journible, this would allow them to copy down the Scripture while having a place to take notes from the lessons. You can click here to purchase the Journible on Amazon.

Thursday Nights: Junior High and High School meet together from 6 pm to 8 pm for a time of fellowship, games/activities and the study of God’s Word. We are doing a verse by verse study of the book of 1 Corinthians. Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, will address many of the cultural and ministry challenges that we still face today. Join us as we do a deep dive into this great epistle, and learn the scriptural responses to the current social concerns that are causing such confusion. Our confidence is in Christ, knowing that He is “not a God of confusion, but of peace” (1 Cor 14:33).

Q&A Pizza Nights/Events: On the last Thursday of each month, we have a $3 dollar pizza night, and the lesson will be on a hot topic that students want to address. This is a great opportunity to bring friends who want to learn how the Bible applies to all areas of life.
