Our desire at Taylor Creek Church is for young people to become committed followers of Jesus Christ by leading them to a saving knowledge of Him, helping them grow in their relationship with Him, and finding the place He has for them to serve. Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Meetings and Events
Everyone makes an impact on the people around them. But what kind of impact will it be? Knowing this, our 2018 summer camp, LEGACY, will challenge the students to be intentional about what type of impact they want to leave behind. Hebrews 11 will remind us to follow in the footsteps of those who have gone before, and for us to be an instrument used by the Lord to advance His kingdom. By His grace, we can accomplish what He has commanded us to do. Join us for some outdoor fun, engaging fellowship, and spiritual growth as we pursue the Lord Jesus Christ and dig into the Scripture!

Sunday School: Junior High and High School meet at 9 am to study God’s word. Come join us as we learn the incredible depths of Scripture, and how we should respond in living out our faith. Our current series is a study of the book of Romans. By faith in Him, Christ is our righteousness. Because of our salvation, how should we then live? We will look at the theology in Romans, and learn how to connect the dots with how we think, speak and act. If your student would like to purchase a Journible, this would allow them to copy down the Scripture while having a place to take notes from the lessons. You can click here to purchase the Journible on Amazon.
Youth Group Thursday Night: Junior High and High School meet together from 6 pm to 8 pm for a time of fellowship, games/activities and the study of God’s Word. We are currently studying the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5-7). The power and practicality of Jesus’ sermon give us opportunities for reflecting on how we should apply His commands to our daily lives.
Q&A Pizza Nights/Events: On the last Thursday of each month, we have a $3 dollar pizza night, and the lesson will be on a hot topic that students want to address. This is a great opportunity to bring friends who want to learn how the Bible applies to all areas of life.
