Our desire at Taylor Creek Church is for young people to become committed followers of Jesus Christ by leading them to a saving knowledge of Him, helping them grow in their relationship with Him, and finding the place He has for them to serve. Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Meetings and Events

Sunday School: Junior High and High School meet at 9 am to study God’s word. Come join us as we learn the incredible depths of Scripture, and how we should respond in living out our faith. Our current series is a study of the book of Romans. By faith in Him, Christ is our righteousness. Because of our salvation, how should we then live? We will look at the theology in Romans, and learn how to connect the dots with how we think, speak and act. If your student would like to purchase a Journible, this would allow them to copy down the Scripture while having a place to take notes from the lessons. You can click here to purchase the Journible on Amazon.

Youth Group Thursday Night: Junior High and High School meet together from 6 pm to 8 pm for a time of fellowship, games/activities and the study of God’s Word. At the beginning of the year, we will be starting a new series called “Creation to Christ”. We will be studying how the Old Testament prophesied and prepared for the coming of Christ as the Savior. We will culminate in a survey of the New Testament to see how He perfectly fulfilled and accomplished the Father’s plan of redemption.

Q&A Pizza Nights/Events: On the last Thursday of each month, we have a $3 dollar pizza night, and the lesson will be on a hot topic that students want to address. This is a great opportunity to bring friends who want to learn how the Bible applies to all areas of life.
